It seems like an eternity since I have updated and I'm so sorry. Thank you to everyone who've so lovingly checked in on the Little Bunny and his/her Mommy and for all those prayers you continue to send. I remain most appreciative and humbled by the kindness.
So, what's new here at Little Bunny's Burrough?
The Burrough is progressing! Our mural artist has been busy, busy working to finish Bunny's room and I am happy to say....She is finished! She will return today to help put things back in order and then Bunny's Daddy has a host of things to finish! Daddy keeps reminding us it Master's Weekend and we keep reminding him its "all about us"! And of course we win that one, as Daddy will be busy this afternoon with Bunny Do's!
As for photos of the nursery, stay tuned...they are still on my big camera and I am in need of a big download to my computer.
The wall mural is finished and the dresser has been given new life via faux finish. The draperies are nearing completion, as is the bedding. Our rug is finished and awaiting pick up. And the chair and ottoman are to ship at month's end...and our crib, well, it remains on back order, but may be here next week, fingers crossed :)
In other news, I'm feeling good, but a little stressed, as there is still so much to do and time is ticking away. I have a big Target run to make for last minute needs and hope that I don't forget anything. Daddy and I are packing our hospital bag today, as we want to be prepared. I've been seeing Dr. D. weekly for the past 3 weeks and as of last week my cervix has started to thin. Little Bunny remains in the breech position and due to him/her being so low there is little chance the version technique of turning our baby would even work. So, we are looking at the alternative. Not what I had envisioned, but I embrace whatever will bring this baby into our arms safely. Please continue to send those prayers, as we feel them!
Little Bunny is indeed a Little Bunny, weighing in at 4lbs as of 2 weeks ago. I am hopeful that we've hit the 5lb mark at this weeks checkup. Dr. D. isn't concerned and maintains Bunny is just going to be a little baby. But, as a Mommy, I'm concerned and had a bit of a melt down, but thanks to my precious friend Nan, who continues to put me back together, I rallied. God bless her, she's always there for me. As are my other Fab 5 friends Deni and Shandrea, who are forever saying the sweetest things and offering me reassurance and many prayers. I love you all so very, very much!

We officially hit the 37 week mark tomorrow! Dr. D. asked at our appointment last week if I thought I could make it 3 more weeks. I told her yes, that even though Little Bunny has not much more room to grow I was not terribly uncomfortable. I'll admit, the leg cramps at night are no fun, but we are enduring! Also, the reflux remains and the round ligament pain takes my breath at night sometimes when I turn from side to side...BUT, all of this is WORTH IT!
In other news, Little Bunny was blessed with 3 Bunny Showers! I was apprehensive of showers at first, but decided that our baby deserved to be showered with the love of friends and family. The first shower was hosted by friends in the former town in which we lived prior to moving to Europe. The second shower was a "Daddy Surprise Shower" hosted by my husbands staff and boy was he surprised! His admin assistant organized it and it was adorable! The love his staff showed him was incredible and I'm thankful that he works with such wonderful people. And, our last shower was a couples cocktail party/shower hosted here in Memphis by close friends....it was amazing! Little Bunny has everything imaginable and we are SO INCREDIBLY BLESSED!
We've also reached week 6 our of 7 of our Birth Classes! Bunny's Daddy has been a trooper to endure these 2 hour classes for the past 5 weeks, but he's learned SO much! Our class is full of the cutest people and we can't wait to meet all of their miracles. Little Bunny is at the head of the class and due first, followed by Baby K, to debut the end of May. Our instructor is a L&D nurse and she's amazing! I only wish she were going to be there with us for Bunny's Birthday :)
On other fronts, my SIL and the boys were home from Nevada for a few days and we saw our newest little love for the first time yesterday. He is beyond adorable and decided that he wasn't so enamored with his Aunt Bebe, but he loved, loved, loved Bunny's Daddy! And my hubby held and loved sweet boy all day long. Melted my heart how sweet he was with his nephew. Not to mention, my SIL gave me tons of good advice and helped me weed through the list of "must haves", which I will soon pass along. And a BIG thanks to Deni for passing along her list to me as well....love you chickie!
Okay, so I owe you all another post full of nothing but pictures...promise I'll get it done! But, for now, I'm off and running to throw laundry in the dryer before heading out to Target to finish up the to do list! Please know that I think of you all and continue to pray for each of you. And I send out God Wink's to my sweetest friend Amy on the good news that I awoke to via email this morning! It's wonderful and I'll admit I cried a river as I read your words. And other good news, my IRL friend A is 8w pregnant via FET! She endured 5 failed IUI's followed by a failed IVF cycle, but got a BFP this time following her FET. Praise God! Please pray for this family and this sweet, growing baby.
I'm signing off and send more love, more hugs, tons of prayers and baby dust always! Mwah! And God Winks to all!
Sweetest Moments: My friends M's little 4 year old asking me if she could "rub my baby". Oh how sweet, I said "of course you can rub my baby"
My Little Love, my nephew, putting his hands on my tummy, grimy little hands that had been playing in the yard all day, but oh so sweet and him looking into my eyes and just smiling. Melt my heart!
